From coordinating despatch to managing pick lists and resolving queries, this role is all about organisation, accuracy, and keeping things moving. Fortnum & Mason are looking for an exceptional Warehouse Services Admin Assistant to join our busy Warehouse team. Reporting to the Warehouse Management Team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the despatch function and ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and perfectly.

Job Responsibility:

  • To co-ordinate the despatch function including pick list management
  • Support the dispatch team with system queries
  • Process all warehouse flipping from daily Intraday meetings & reports
  • Activate and print all picklists to push out for picking in a timely manner
  • Monitor and update the Back Order report on a daily basis using information from Intraday calls and liaise with B&M teams
  • Push dates on orders to meet delivery timelines where product is not in the business on time
  • Communicate OOS SKU’s and liaise with Customer Relations department regarding subs, failed orders and despatches
  • Monitor orders and notice where incorrect items are ordered or dates are wrong, using established relationships within other departments to resolve queries
  • Process all No charge picks, including documentation
  • Manually updating already delivered orders where required
  • Communication back to the Buying teams of any incorrect product set up which causes problems with despatching
  • Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by the Warehouse Management team
  • To undertake any warehouse duties including lifting and carrying products, cartons etc when needed for the good of the department
  • Analyse despatch data and produce reports
  • Manage back dated orders on the system to ensure there are minimal old or orders in error

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident with systems
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, organised approach to work
