We are seeking an experienced and innovative QHSE Manager to lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement at a high-volume at our client's new distribution site. This leadership role partners closely with site operations to execute health and safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and cultivate a culture of safety excellence. As a warehouse quality, health, safety and environment manager, you play a critical role for ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment through leadership, expertise, and innovation. The person appointed for this role must have at least 8 years' experience in the field of health and safety in a warehouse. As well as more than 3 years in a management or similar position in the health and safety field. This person will be responsible for the entire site and teams. Salary: 85-95k. Full time permanent role. Start Date: May 2026.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the subject matter expert on health and safety regulations and internal WHS policies
Oversee site compliance with safety standards through audits, inspections, and performance tracking
Analyze safety data and incident trends to develop strategic action plans for reducing risk
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce ergonomic and conditional risks
Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of safety metrics to support operational decision-making
Develop, coach, and mentor a team of safety managers and professionals, fostering leadership growth and bench strength
Provide safety training and policy guidance to operations leadership and frontline teams
Partner with site and regional teams to ensure consistent safety practices and risk mitigation strategies
Conduct workplace audits to evaluate organization, behaviors, and training effectiveness
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices and drive long-term safety performance improvements
Requirements:
At least 8 years' experience in the field of health and safety in a warehouse
At least 3 years in a management or similar position in the health and safety field
3PL warehouse, high-volume and fast-paced environment (mandatory)
Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
Knowledge of logistics and the supply chain
Leadership and communication skills
Analytical skills

Certified Safety Professional preferred
