As an established Ericsson Production Site in the US, the Smart Factory warehouse team is now looking for a Warehouse Operator to be the first line of support for warehouse operations. Crucial aspects of the role include working within multiple softwares for warehouse material receipt, material preparation, and shipping of finished goods. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of working in a fast-paced environment, who learns quickly, enjoys working within a team, and possesses outstanding problem-solving skills. This individual must have knowledge working with a warehouse management system, work well under pressure, possess a working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and be able to work autonomously with little to no supervision and/or mistakes. Cross training may be required in some or all the following areas: receiving, packaging, put-away, picking, Kanban fulfillment, assembly kitting, transportation, and service shipping.
Job Responsibility
Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect for damage
Properly store received goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, hand truck)
Accurately pick items from storage locations according to customer orders, pack them securely for shipment, and generate shipping labels
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate inventory records
Report discrepancies to Leads/supervisor
Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment (Internal certification required)
Maintain and observe 5S program to ensure all working areas are clean and support lean manufacturing goals
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Assist with operational, administrative and production management tasks related to receiving, internal movement, storing, picking, and packing/repair
Perform other warehouse-related tasks as needed to support overall warehouse operations
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience using at least one of the following for material handling and day-to-day warehouse operational activities: RF Scanners, computers, tablets, smart phones
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push, and pull for 10-12 hours, in addition to lifting up to 50 lbs
Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and willingness to contribute
Phenomenal attitude and work ethic, with a high level of accountability and integrity

Availability to work any of the following shifts, to be determined at time of hire: A: 7am-7pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
B: 7pm-7am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
C: 7am-7pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
D: 7pm-7am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday
