The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products. This position operates in strict compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) safety regulations, and company quality standards to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring all activities comply with Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Receiving and processing all incoming goods arriving at site
Controlling the stores operation ensuring sufficient stock is available to supply all departments
Unloading the forklift, checking parcel condition, and signing drivers’ manifests
Unpacking goods, checking delivery notes, and making sure they are stored on the correct shelves
Booking in the various types of products that come into the warehouse and making sure the relevant member of staff is aware of their arrival
Processing customer returns
Getting orders from various departments ready for collection
Rotating dated stock ensuring those with the shortest expiry dates are used first
Keeping the storage area tidy and organised
Completing administrative duties including security and temperature control of stock
Requirements:
Experience of operating and similar role
Strong, up to date, knowledge of Good Distribution Practice
