Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Compounding on the late shift (13:00-21:00). In Compounding, we manufacture patient specific products such as Chemo-therapy, nutrition and antibiotics. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for receiving raw materials on site, sorting correctly and working as part of a cross functional team.
Job Responsibility:
To receive and book in raw materials
Locate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as required
Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch
To support day to day running of the Warehouse duties
Being able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas to support the business
Communicate and work with other areas of the business such as production and quality
To assist routine blind count audits
To perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure a high standard working environment
Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
Provide cover for colleagues with possible change of working hours if necessary
To notify Quality Assurance and the Process Leading hands of any deviations from the process
Placing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production
Replenish Stock locations when needed
To complete internal training when required
You may be required to complete other tasks from time to time when reasonably expected
Requirements:
Experience in a Warehouse and/or packing environment is an advantage
Experience in using Stand On Electric Pallet Truck is an advantage
Experience in using warehouse inventory systems or the ability to learn computer systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Reasonable computer skills, MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and warehouse inventory systems experience would be an advantage
Team player with ability to work under instruction and on own initiative and to follow instructions diligently
Excellent attention to detail
Learns quickly and adapts well to change, displaying a high level of situation adaptability
Nice to have:
Experience in a Warehouse and/or packing environment
Experience in using Stand On Electric Pallet Truck
Experience in using warehouse inventory systems
Reasonable computer skills, MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and warehouse inventory systems experience
