Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for Warehouse Operator Lead, Sampling at our Fairfield, NJ location on the working shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.

Job Responsibility

  • Accurately pick, pack, process, and ship sample orders to meet or exceed service expectations
  • Fulfill customer, internal, and replenishment orders for fulfillment centers with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Maintain awareness of internal and external service level agreements (SLAs) and support the team in consistently achieving performance targets
  • Proactively maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment throughout daily operations
  • Ensure individual workstations and shared spaces are reset to 5S standards at the end of each shift
  • Collaborate with team members to keep fulfillment areas clean, organized, and tour‑ready at all times
  • Identify opportunities for minor process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, or organization and communicate recommendations to supervisors
  • Provide informal mentorship to new team members by sharing best practices for sample fulfillment processes and workspace organization
  • Accurately receive inbound sample inventory in accordance with established procedures to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Put away inbound samples into designated storage locations following defined workflows and organizational standards
  • Replenish pick face locations from overstock or new receipts in a timely manner, ensuring products are stocked according to best practices
  • Organize and consolidate overstock locations and pallets to maximize space utilization and support warehouse flow
  • Support accurate inventory management through attention to detail and proactive communication during receiving, put‑away, and replenishment activities
  • Identify and suggest small process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, space efficiency, or replenishment speed
  • Assist and support new or less experienced team members by modeling proper receiving, put‑away, and replenishment techniques

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or completion of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in a fulfillment or warehouse environment is a plus
  • Experience operating order pickers and reach trucks is a plus
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Teams would be beneficial
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when needed
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Proficiency in oral and written English, including reading comprehension
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Capable lifting up to 60 pounds
