As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently. You will ensure all stock is handled with care, maintain a tidy and safe working environment, and support the team in meeting daily targets. Job Responsibility
Goods In: Receive, check, and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition
Stock Management: Store goods safely and accurately, maintaining correct stock levels and locations
Order Picking: Accurately pick and pack orders according to company procedures and customer requirements
Dispatch: Prepare and load goods for dispatch, ensuring timely and correct delivery to customers or other sites
Inventory Checks: Carry out regular stock counts and report discrepancies
Health and Safety: Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, following all health and safety guidelines
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if trained and certified)
Documentation: Complete all relevant paperwork and update warehouse management systems as required
Team Support: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily warehouse targets and support other tasks as needed
