Warehouse Operative

• Receiving inbound deliveries that arrive at our store, and moving these to sales locations across the store so that they are ready for customers to shop
• Cross-check paperwork and use internal systems to ensure the right amount of stock is received and dropped in the right locations
• Willingness to be trained as a First Aid responder
• Develop knowledge and operate forklifts
• Commit to all IKEA health, safety, and security rules and actively help colleagues to prevent incidents
• Contribute to optimised daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious way
• Manual handling using safety protocols and working with the use of pump trucks

• You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking of stock, placing it in the correct sales locations across the store
• You ideally bring with you relevant warehouse, logistics or order fulfilment experience
• You proactively look for tasks to be done and use your initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner
• Experience operating forklifts (or a desire to do so) is welcomed
• You have an adaptable mindset allowing you to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight time frames
• You work with guidance from your manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working
• Due to health & safety for this role, you must be 18 years of age or older for this role
