Warehouse Operative

• Receive deliveries and returns at the loading bay from suppliers and customers
• Load and unload items (boxes, packages, cages, and pallets) using manual handling equipment
• Check the quantity and quality of incoming goods against purchase orders or Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN)
• Book goods into the warehouse management system and safely store them in designated zones
• Pick and assemble customer orders using radio data terminals and picking lists
• Package and label cartons, pallets, and chemicals for secure transportation
• Sort orders into outbound routes on the dispatch bay and safely load vehicles according to the manifest sequence

• Experience: Background in warehouse operations (such as picking, packing, dispatching, or forklift driving)
• Communication: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal procedures/instructions in English
• Teamwork: A cooperative, flexible team player who supports colleagues and fosters a positive working environment
• Drive: Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to participate in continuous training and continuous improvement projects (like 5S and Kaizen)
• Safety & Professionalism: Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and a professional, smartly presented approach (PPE/workwear provided)
• Basic computer skills
• English, Maths
• High School
