Job Description:

Our client is a leading logistics company, offering comprehensive supply chain solutions with a commitment to excellence and efficiency. As a Warehouse Operative, you will work within the logistics department dealing with suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
  • Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (counterbalance desirable)
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Conducting regular inventory checks and stock control
  • Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handling heavy lifting as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
  • Forklift counterbalance licence (desirable)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
