Warehouse Operative

• Carrying out any role required within the warehouse environment
• Picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area and secure areas
• Carrying out roles within the transport environment if required
• Overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate
• Accurately assemble items from the pick documentation
• Ensure that the quantity picked is accurate
• Avoid damage and use appropriate bin/packaging
• Report all damages to the line team leader
• Report any pick face errors to the line team leaders immediately
• Report any visible errors within the warehouse environment to line team leaders immediately
• Inform line team leader if there is a problem with a particular line/area
• Assemble hospital orders and give to the hospital checker
• Assemble special check orders and give to the special checker
• Pick Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders
• Respond to any errors immediately
• Bring all unusual quantities in picking process to the attention of the line team leader
• Report any suspected/actual issues relating to an order itself to the line team leader
• Report any issues relating to transport activities to the line team leader
• Maintain awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Keep the warehouse area clean and tidy and free from rubbish at all times

• Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable
