Location: Bishops Stortford, Essex (Stansted Airport – CM23) Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary/Ongoing Overview: We are currently recruiting Parcel Sorters to support operations at a busy air cargo facility based at London Stansted Airport. This is a Saturday-only position, ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income with flexible weekend work. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. Shift & Timings: Shift: Saturday Time: 15:30 – 02:00 Pay Rate: Standard: (15:30 – 22:00): £13.29 per hour (£13.40 p/h after 12 weeks) Night: (22:00 – 02:00): £17.29 per hour Additional Information: This is a great opportunity for students or individuals seeking flexible, weekend-only work in a dynamic logistics environment. The role offers a strong entry point into the aviation and cargo sector with potential for ongoing opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Scanning parcels and placing them onto conveyor belts
  • Loading and unloading parcels, freight, and cargo (11kg – 25kg)
  • Assisting with loading parcels into vehicles and containers
  • Sorting parcels into designated areas for dispatch
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and handle parcels up to 25kg
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding, repetitive role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Ability to travel to and from Stansted Airport for shift times
  • 5-year checkable work/education history
  • Clear UK Criminal Record Check (DBS)
