Join Adams Morey Nursling as a Warehouse Operative and become part of a fast-paced, supportive team. You’ll ensure customer and inter-company transfers are picked efficiently and on time, reporting any nil picks to a supervisor immediately. We’re looking for someone who works well as part of a team, connects with respect, and communicates with clarity. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 7.00pm, one in two Saturdays, 8.00 am to 12.00 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch (unpaid). Salary: £12.71 per hour.
Job Responsibility
Pick and bag / box customer orders ready for dispatch
Checking goods for damage or missing items
Help maintain stock levels by reporting any shortages
Operating warehouse equipment safely
Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Helping to load deliveries occasionally when needed
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience
FLT license or willingness to work towards gaining licence
Some motor trade experience
Excellent time keeping
Friendly and approachable manner
Strong minded and a positive attitude
Good team player
Cope well under pressure
Willingness to help others
Basic use of email and booking out.
