Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient goods handling, accurate stock management, and maintaining high operational standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive and process goods in line with purchase order procedures
  • Accurately manage stock using internal systems and tracking protocols
  • Report any discrepancies or irregularities promptly
  • Support maintenance and operational procedures within the warehouse
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
  • Process internal and external orders efficiently and accurately
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and departments
  • Prioritise workload effectively as part of a team
  • Contribute to a high standard of customer service
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Ensure correct PPE usage at all times
  • Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and visitors
  • Participate in stock counts and inventory control processes
  • Support waste reduction and packaging management initiatives

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Knowledge of stock control and warehouse procedures
  • Forklift/Reach Truck certification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
