If so, our Warehouse Operative role is the job for you! Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team based in Redditch. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working 4on 4off nights (18:00-06:00) and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £30,230.69 per annum. This is a fantastic role which will always keep you on the move! Your role will be to undertake allocated Warehouse-related duties in a safe, cost-effective and efficient manner.

Job Responsibility

Receive and check loads into the warehouse, ensuring all correct packaging and labelling is in place
Ensure all stock handled is secure and complies with relevant food safety standards
Operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods safely
Assist with assembling loads for despatch and onto vehicles
Conduct quality checks to ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene levels
Take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Up-to-date licence to use designated mechanical equipment
IT literate in Microsoft Office packages
The ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
Extensive knowledge and application of warehouse, food safety rules and health and safety procedures
Ability to use initiative and to be organised so that key tasks are completed fully and on time
Ability to work to set targets and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven arithmetic skills
Effective working in a team-based environment
