Warehouse Operative

• Carrying out any role required within the warehouse environment
• Picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area and secure areas
• Carrying out roles within the transport environment if required
• Processing customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate
• Accurately assemble items from pick documentation
• Ensure quantity picked is accurate
• Avoid damage and use appropriate bin/packaging
• Report all damages to the line team leader
• Report pick face errors immediately
• Report visible errors within the warehouse environment immediately
• Inform line team leader of problems with a particular line/area
• Assemble hospital orders and give to hospital checker
• Assemble special check orders and give to special checker
• Pick Medical Bulk, Fridge & Secure area orders following specific criteria
• Respond to errors immediately
• Bring unusual quantities in picking process to attention of line team leader
• Report any suspected/actual issues relating to an order to line team leader
• Report issues relating to transport activities to line team leader
• Maintain awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Keep warehouse area clean, tidy and free from rubbish

Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable.
