Job Description:

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse. This involves various tasks related to the handling, storage, and transportation of goods.

Job Responsibility:

Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments and verify that they match the order details
Unload goods from delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment
Storage and Inventory: Store goods in designated areas according to proper storage procedures
Maintain accurate inventory records
Pick and pack orders for shipment
Transportation: Load and unload goods onto delivery vehicles
Assist with vehicle maintenance and upkeep
Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage or defects before storage or shipment
Ensure that products are stored and transported under appropriate conditions
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
