Job Description:

IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Warehouse Operatives to join our hardworking Fulfilment team. These are 30-hour a week contracts working in our Click and Collect / Order Picking area. You'll be at the core of our operations, carefully selecting and preparing high volumes of products for online orders, in-store collection, and home delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery, including handing them to the customer
Receiving stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery
Meeting the customer in the store during picking
Working with internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times
Ensuring products are always available by accurately and promptly completing tasks in assigned area of the warehouse
Committing to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements
Contributing to optimized daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious way
Manual handling using safety protocols and working with the use of pump trucks

Requirements:

Comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking of stock and to answer customer questions
Proactively look for tasks to be done and use initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner
Adaptable mindset allowing to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight time frames
Work with guidance from manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working
Must be 18 years of age or older due to health & safety
