Job Description:

Warehouse Operative (Nightshift) - Howdens. Yusen Logistics is working to become the world’s preferred supply chain logistics company. Job Responsibility:

  • Perform a variety of warehouse duties to support our nightshift operations for our key Howdens contract
  • Receive, pick, put away, replenish, and dispatch items in an efficient, safe, and timely manner
  • Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedures and raise any defects to your line manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
  • A desire to Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Understand the value of attaining the highest levels of Customer service
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • To comply with all Health & Safety legislation
  • To commit to working night shift pattern
  • A minimum level of education, GCSEs (or equivalent) and have a good understanding of both written and verbal English
  • To be literate and numerate
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Have attention to detail
