Job Description:

Planet Recruitment are working in partnership with a growing and ambitious logistics business to recruit a Warehouse Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is expanding its operations and customer base, offering long-term stability and career progression. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Loading and unloading company vehicles and trailers
  • Handling and processing freight safely and efficiently
  • Building and breaking down aircraft pallets
  • Checking freight against documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Operating MHE, including forklift trucks (where licensed)
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working closely with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
  • Adhering to all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment (air cargo desirable but not essential)
  • Experience operating MHE (forklift licence preferred but not essential)
  • Strong work ethic and a hands-on approach
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A reliable and flexible attitude

Nice to have:

  • Air cargo experience
  • Forklift licence
