As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities. This hands-on position is essential to maintaining our high standards of service, handling goods efficiently, and supporting our day-to-day distribution processes. Job Responsibility

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming stock and materials
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided if necessary)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory management to ensure stock accuracy
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to meet operational targets
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the Warehouse Manager promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre is preferred but not essential
  • full training will be provided
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions carefully
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks including lifting and moving stock safely
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late evenings
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
