Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a leading client within the Rail Rolling Stock Industry. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-quality production environment, supporting a major ongoing project with strong potential for permanent employment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials flow efficiently through the warehouse to the production line, maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for production
  • Build kits and ensure timely delivery to the production line
  • Carry out accurate goods-in processes, including booking stock into the system
  • Perform quality checks to meet inspection standards
  • Store goods correctly using barcode scanning systems
  • Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and integrity through regular stock counts
  • Pack goods securely for shipment (bags, boxes, pallets)
  • Ensure all dispatches are processed accurately using scanning systems
  • Deliver materials to the production line on time and confirm receipt
  • Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
  • Follow established processes and organisational standards
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT licences (Reach Truck and Counterbalance)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
