We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Warehouse Operator to join our brilliant team at our Panattoni Park site in Northampton (NN7 4DE). The position holder will carry out all operational Cross Docks tasks and procedures following the company guidelines across site contracts. The role will offer a salary of £30,790.18 per annum with a shift allowance of £836 per annum. The shift pattern for this role is 14:00 - 22:30.

Job Responsibility

  • Goods-in and goods-out loading and unloading
  • Offloading vehicles and verifying that stock is accurate upon receipt
  • Ensure that stock is properly booked in and located correctly
  • Picking, wrapping/strapping, and loading vehicles
  • Adjust orders to meet customer specifications when necessary
  • Perform all tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Be prepared to work on other contracts and shifts as required
  • Availability for overtime work when needed
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the team
  • Work within best practices and suggest improvements to the YUSEN Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
  • Coordinate with other shifts and perform additional duties as needed
  • Assist with day-to-day operations as required
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in all relevant safety briefings and campaigns
  • Conduct all equipment checks as per procedure, taking necessary actions to ensure your safety and that of your coworkers

  • Experienced in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), though training will be provided if needed
