Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies
Experience managing a temperature-controlled storage facility
Ability to plan ahead, prioritise tasks, and adapt to unexpected changes
Good understanding of the manufacturing supply chain
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members
Current or previous licences for counterbalance and power pallet trucks

Job Responsibility

Assemble, check, scan, and load pallets for customer deliveries
Book transport for customer orders and prepare all associated delivery paperwork
Coordinate drivers, vehicles, and loads, ensuring cost-effective and timely solutions
Carry out daily warehouse inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
Inspect equipment and tools to maintain high operational standards
Relocate pallets from packing areas to the warehouse
Monitor stock levels of packed products and communicate with the Packhouse Planning team regarding orders and stock
Manage relationships with service providers
Ensure quality objectives and delivery deadlines are consistently met
Load and unload local orders and packaging using the appropriate trucks

Requirements

Counterbalance forklift operator experience
1 or more years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics coordination, or a similar role
Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Responsibility

Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to support warehouse operations
Manage driver reception: greet drivers, assign dock doors, and process check-ins/check-outs
Perform timely data entry in MWS and dock software for all inbound/outbound shipments
Process customer orders with adherence inventory rules
Handle daily communications, including start/end of shift reports, monitoring emails, and customer service
Generate reports, track exceptions, and assist with inventory control duties as needed
