The Warehouse Operations role is a key contributor to the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials in our distribution environment. As part of a small, close-knit team reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position executes core activities including inbound receipt, inventory management, picking and packing, outbound handling, and kitting. The role supports on-time customer delivery, high inventory accuracy, and ongoing improvement in warehouse performance.
Job Responsibility
Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping while meeting productivity and quality standards
Process orders and transactions accurately in the warehouse management system and related applications to support inventory accuracy
Prepare, stage, and verify shipments to meet customer delivery requirements, including correct documentation, labeling, and packaging
Support cycle counts and inventory control
investigate discrepancies and assist with corrective actions
Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts and, where applicable, forklifts) safely and in line with company policies and regulations
Collaborate with team members and leadership to handle last-minute requests and shifting priorities while maintaining customer focus
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements
Communicate effectively to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and support cross-functional operations
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with core warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, kitting, shipping, and inventory control
Ability to use a computer to process orders, manage email, and perform basic data entry
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Experience with a warehouse management system
Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license and operate material handling equipment as needed
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment
Commitment to accuracy and quality
Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for overtime or schedule adjustments
Nice to have
Additional coursework in supply chain, logistics, or a related area
Exposure to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
