As a PM Shift Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind a smooth-running warehouse and ensure every customer gets their appliance delivered on time. You’ll oversee delivery and installation runs, keep our vehicles compliant and road-ready, and support our Drivers and operational teams throughout the shift.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the PM shift to ensure all delivery and installation runs are prepped and ready
Complete daily reports for the Depot Manager
Check vehicles meet transport legislation and security standards before leaving the depot
Support and guide team members (employed and self-employed) to maintain compliance
Carry out alcohol testing when required
Communicate with Drivers, resolving queries quickly and professionally
Manage transhipping and reloads efficiently
Debrief vehicles returning from delivery runs
Make key decisions in the absence of the Depot Manager to keep performance on track
React fast to challenges and solve problems independently
Requirements:
Strong understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
Ability to build positive relationships under pressure
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written
Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
