The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for handling activities related to the receipt, shipment, movement, manufacture, and control of raw materials, finished products, recyclable materials, and waste. The role may involve operating equipment/machinery and maintaining inventory records while supporting manufacturing operations through accurate documentation and quality integration.
Job Responsibility:
Perform warehouse activities such as receiving, shipping, material movement, manufacturing support, and waste handling
Operate equipment/machinery when necessary
Prioritize tasks based on customer needs in a team environment
Prepare and maintain records and documentation as required
Maintain inventory record accuracy to support manufacturing needs
Document raw material inventories accurately
Support continuous improvement in training and team performance
Ensure integration of quality systems in all functional activities
Handle storeroom functions and inventory control responsibilities
Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience preferred
Familiarity with transactional data within an MRP system (Material Requirements Planning)
Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of data collection devices
Adequate math skills
Ability to interpret specifications and procedures
Competency in using measuring devices and tools
Ability to prepare and maintain shipment and inventory documentation
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and equipment
High motivation to contribute to team goals and objectives
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to pass training/licensing as per federal or local regulations (if applicable)
Capability to develop job-specific skills at an acceptable rate
