This role involves using various equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. The position may also include record-keeping responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate equipment to move materials and products within the facility
  • Maintain records as necessary
  • Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
  • Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks according to defined procedures
  • Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods
