Job Description

We are hiring an Operator 2, Warehouse Operations for a warehouse/distribution facility in Four Oaks, NC. The role involves operating material-handling equipment to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the facility. This is a contract position on 1st Shift, with potential for conversion based on performance and business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate material-handling equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and high-reach trucks
  • Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the plant/warehouse
  • Perform basic data entry, scanning, and manifest-related computer tasks
  • Follow established SOPs and quality standards while completing routine tasks
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
  • Perform basic math calculations and work in a metrics-driven environment
  • Be available for required overtime during weekdays and Saturdays, as needed

Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • 0–1 year of warehouse or related experience required at minimum
  • Previous experience with pallet jack/electric equipment preferred
  • Prior manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Ability to safely operate MHE (pallet jacks, forklifts/high-reach trucks) or ability to become certified
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, scanning systems, manifests)
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English-language documents
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (role may require lifting/moving items over 50 lbs)
  • Must clear background check and drug screening (10-panel) before starting
  • Must obtain/maintain required licenses, training, or certifications as needed
  • Comfortable with regular walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and grasping
  • Must be willing to work near moving equipment
