The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for various warehouse operations including the receipt, shipment, movement, manufacturing, or control of raw materials, finished products, recyclable materials, and waste. This role may involve operating machinery and requires maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting quality systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a team-based environment.
Job Responsibility:
Perform activities related to the receipt, shipment, movement, manufacture, and control of materials and waste
Operate equipment or machinery when necessary
Prioritize tasks based on customer needs in a team environment
Prepare and maintain various records and documentation
Document raw material inventories accurately
Foster continuous improvement in training and team performance
Integrate quality systems into all functional activities
Maintain inventory record accuracy to support manufacturing
Manage storeroom functions and inventory control
Support and comply with training/licensing requirements of regulatory programs, if needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to pass training or licensing programs related to warehouse operations (if applicable)
Willingness and ability to develop new skills at an acceptable pace
Capable of maintaining appropriate documentation for product movement
Entry-level to moderate experience acceptable
Familiarity with inventory management systems (MRP) and related transactional data is preferred
Basic PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of data collection devices
Adequate math and measurement skills
Ability to interpret and comprehend specifications and procedures
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and facility equipment
Attention to documentation accuracy and detail
Strong motivation and team collaboration skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with inventory management systems (MRP) and related transactional data is preferred
