As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and at the highest performance level. You will lead our fleet operations team and oversee our warehouse in Amersfoort, supporting the launch and growth of our e-bike operations in the Netherlands. This role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, optimising warehouse processes, and ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest standards.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop the warehouse team, creating a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and performance
Oversee daily warehouse and fleet operations, ensuring our e-bikes are maintained, repaired, and deployed efficiently
Work hands-on with the team on maintenance and repairs to ensure high service quality, maximise vehicle uptime, and reduce operational costs
Plan and optimise workflows across the warehouse and field operations, including shift planning, performance tracking, and continuous process improvements
Implement and maintain operational standards and SOPs to ensure consistent, high-quality execution
Drive operational performance using data, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Act as a safety leader, ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed and creating a safe working environment
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including 3PL providers, staffing agencies, landlords, and local partners
Support hiring and onboarding of new team members in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management
Experience leading teams in fast-paced operational environments
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and execution
Experience optimising processes and improving operational performance
Strong stakeholder management skills
Confidence working with data and digital tools (MS Office, Google Suite, ERP or operational systems)
A good understanding of business operations, cost control, and performance management
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Fluency in Dutch and English
A valid driving licence for the Netherlands
Nice to have:
Experience in startups, logistics scale-ups, or mobility operations
Experience launching or setting up new operational sites
