Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, this role will support the Warehouse Inventory & Logistics Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of the MSDP warehouse and site logistics function. The role is responsible for executing warehouse operations including receipting, storage, picking, staging, and dispatch of materials, as well as providing hands-on logistics support for truck unloading and loading activities. This is a 12-month maximum term role which operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.
Job Responsibility
Execute day-to-day warehouse operations including receipting, storage, picking, staging and dispatch of materials to support site production and maintenance activities
Maintain accurate inventory records in Pronto through timely system transactions, cycle counts, stocktakes and reconciliation of discrepancies
Ensure materials are stored, labelled, rotated and handled correctly in line with site procedures, SDS requirements and dangerous goods regulations
Provide hands-on logistics support including loading and unloading deliveries, verifying documentation, and safely operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and FEL/ITC
Adhere to all HSE standards and safe systems of work, promptly reporting hazards, incidents, stock issues and non-conformances while maintaining high housekeeping standards
Support operational efficiency through clear communication with internal teams, reagent and consumable supply coordination, audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Previous experience in warehousing, stores or inventory management within a mining, resources or industrial environment
Strong inventory control skills, with experience in receipting, dispatch, cycle counts, stocktakes and reconciliation using an ERP or inventory system such as Pronto
Current forklift licence and demonstrated ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, with FEL/ITC experience highly regarded
A safety-first mindset with knowledge of hazardous materials handling, dangerous goods requirements and safe work procedures in high-risk environments
Reliable communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced remote operations team
