Job Description:

This position will be responsible for organizing shipping logistics, receiving materials, and maintaining the shop and warehouse areas at the Houston location, and assisting with Supply Chain Management in warehouse operations.

Job Responsibility:

Receive and kit project materials
Maintain PO receiving in Deltek
Organize, clean, and maintain work and storage areas in shop and warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Store, label, and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment in storage areas in an orderly and accessible manner
Assists with the supply chain management in warehouse operations and inventory of tools and equipment
Examine and inspect parts, tools, or supplies for wear or damage, and notify supervisor for disposal or return to vendor
Keep shop and warehouse areas neat, clean, and clutter-free
General routine facilities maintenance and upkeep activities

Requirements:

High School Diploma
Basic working knowledge of warehouse operations
Knowledge and experience in inventory control
Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
Ability to keep and maintain accurate records, with good penmanship
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize, and organize work duties accordingly
Effective communication skills - written and oral
Able to effectively engage in multiple projects at one time
Able and willing to work independently or in a team environment
with ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people including accounting, engineering, manufacturing and marine operations staff
Strong attention to detail

Nice to have:

2+ years prior experience in warehouse operations
Fork-Lift certification (with minimum of 1 year experience)
Associates degree or other college education
