Job Description:

Randstad has been given the exclusive opportunity to support a key client at their site in Melbourne's South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a global retailer with exciting plans for further growth in Australasia.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage activities for cycle counts, correct stock variances or inaccuracies
  • Support with the management of a roster of 5 full time staff and casual staff
  • Foster and enhance a culture that takes pride in its performance, delivery and work environment and seeks to continually improve
  • Develop and contribute to 'best in class' processes within the warehouse
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Supervision of normal operational activities from receiving to dispatch and everything in between
  • Ensure a high level of compliance with OH&S requirements and enhance an organised and clean working environment
  • Supervise and lead warehouse teams & individuals to achieve team KPIs and goals

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years experience in a similar position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possesses a problem-solving mentality and analytical nature
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions promptly
  • A Team Player who sees the value in supporting all parts of the business
  • Must have knowledge of warehouse procedures
  • A forklift ticket is essential. LO is an advantage
  • Exposure to ERP/WMS and automated warehouse operations
  • Exposure to OH&S and understanding of safe work practices

Nice to have:

  • AP21 system experience highly regarded
  • Knowledge in apparel and footwear is advantages but not essential
