The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products. This role will lead inventory management, logistics coordination, and team supervision to support operational goals, maintain product quality, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping
Manage and lead warehouse staff by overseeing training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure a motivated and high-performing team
Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and system updates
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to meet customer and production demands
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including food safety guidelines
Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and transportation teams
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements as needed
Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive products
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party logistics providers when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse or distribution center management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Experience in food manufacturing, cold storage, or regulated environments preferred
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards (OSHA, FDA, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse-related software
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
