Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations in Louisville, Kentucky. This Contract-to-Permanent position requires a proactive leader who can ensure seamless day-to-day activities while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and a commitment to fostering a safe and efficient work environment. The hours for the Warehouse Manager are onsite, Monday-Friday: 730 AM-430 PM.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, quality assurance, space management, logistics coordination, and customer service
organize and manage the warehouse team, assigning tasks to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary overtime
conduct regular inspections of tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality
develop and implement workflows, staffing plans, and equipment layouts that align with productivity and quality objectives
monitor inventory levels and oversee logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and company facilities
train team members to address operational challenges and achieve both short-term and long-term performance goals
establish and enforce workplace safety standards while ensuring compliance with all legal regulations
analyze team productivity and collaborate with warehouse leads to create actionable plans for continuous improvement
coordinate with drivers and logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation and delivery processes.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for managing operations and reporting
demonstrated experience in warehouse management and distribution processes
knowledge of warehouse equipment and inventory control practices
strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively oversee warehouse staff
familiarity with logistics and shipping methods to optimize delivery operations
ability to maintain a safe and regulated warehouse environment
excellent problem-solving skills for addressing operational challenges
effective communication abilities for team coordination and customer interactions.
