Warehouse Manager

• Train, provide work direction, motivate, evaluate performance and oversee activities of warehouse associates
• Assure safe and efficient warehouse operations including cleanliness
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and Company safety policies as directed
• Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts and reconcile any variances
• Collect mileage and hour meter readings from all vehicles and equipment
• Administer safety training as required by OSHA
• Administer formal training on the use of forklifts and pallet jacks as required by OSHA
• Responsible for setting up new products and maintaining pick location
• Count and verify incoming product from daily routes as needed
• Prepare and communicate out-of-date product
• Perform end-of-day procedures including preparing handhelds for next day deliveries
• Conduct interviews for open positions
• Secure facility at end of day
• Responsible for picking, operating forklift, and moving trucks as needed
• Perform other duties as necessary

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift and pallet jack certification
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Skills in critical thinking, problem solving and judgement and decision making
• Skills in organizing and prioritizing work and tasks
• Ability to provide attention to detail
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to communicate objectives with associates
