Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations near Carol Stream, Illinois. This position requires a strong leader capable of driving efficiency, accountability, and structure while ensuring optimal inventory management and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Warehouse Management Systems, fostering team development, and driving continuous process improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Provide leadership and direction to warehouse staff
Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain warehouse operations
Oversee the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of the Warehouse Management System
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities
Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, reconciliation, and root cause analysis of discrepancies
Drive initiatives to improve warehouse performance, streamline workflows, and reduce operational costs
Maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment by adhering to OSHA standards and company policies
Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business goals
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and process discipline across all warehouse functions

Requirements:

Minimum of five years of warehouse management experience
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Proven ability to manage and lead a team of 10+ employees
Strong understanding of inventory control, root-cause analysis, and reconciliation
Ability to plan, prioritize effectively, and operate proactively
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
Proven ability to create structure, implement processes, and drive accountability
Experience in contract manufacturing, manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Strong analytical skills and experience using dashboards, KPIs, or reporting tools
Experience with NetSuite WMS
