Job Description

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and providing general maintenance to the building, equipment and/or machinery.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Provide general maintenance to the building, equipment and/or machinery
  • Provide maintenance to equipment and conveyor system
  • General maintenance, cleaning and preventative maintenance including sweeping and cleaning floors, collection and removal of garbage, and dusting
  • Restock restroom supplies / toiletries as needed
  • Ensure all cleaning materials are kept in well-marked, ventilated area
  • Paint as needed
  • Prep batteries daily
  • Operate powered equipment such as a forklift and scrubber
  • Change light fixtures in warehouse and offices as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested
  • Maintain good attendance
  • Maintain safe work practices

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management
  • Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed
  • Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision
  • Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb
