Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 25-28 Warehouse Associates, ensuring they have the tools, support, and knowledge to meet and exceed performance expectations
  • Set clear, achievable performance goals using KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, safety, and cleanliness to drive results while fostering a culture of mutual respect and high engagement

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, continuously optimizing workflows to drive productivity and minimize bottlenecks
  • Apply LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices to identify opportunities for process improvement, reduce waste, and ensure operations remain efficient, accurate, and aligned with team objectives
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to implement improvements based on feedback, performance reviews, and observed inefficiencies, always striving for better results and greater accuracy

Requirements:

  • High school diplomas or GED required
  • additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years of formal leadership experience for teams of 10 or more
  • Proven track record of maintaining a safe work environment and compliance with safety regulations
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team, mentoring, and developing warehouse personnel
  • Required experience includes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage a team
  • Experience conducting structured monthly check-ins and on-the-floor observations
  • Experience developing and tracking action plans for team members
  • Ability to delegate effectively and manage change
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including various shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays to support warehouse operations
  • Must be able to lift, move, and carry 30-40 pounds repetitively upwards of 1,000 times per day
  • Must be able to lift, move, and carry larger items up to 75 pounds less frequently
