Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Warehouse Inventory Control Lead to join our newly constructed Warehouse Logistics center. This role will review accuracy regarding QR’s, inventory, and internal transactions aligned with Microsoft products. As a Warehouse Inventory Control Lead, you will be required to excel in the areas of safety, quality, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability.
Job Responsibility:
Provide escalations on issues regarding inventory control and legal compliance
Participate, coordinate, and collaborate with Microsoft Operations team
Communicate with internal Sales/ Asset teams on product transactions, transfers, serial numbers, quality, etc…
Provide strong professionalism and customer service to external Microsoft customers
Identify root cause issues pertaining to inventory discrepancies and quality issues
Offer direction and provide solutions regarding inventory discrepancies and reports
Provide daily Warehouse metrics and KPI’s
Respond to branch services requests: shipping issues, line item adjustments, sales order tracking, etc.
Act as a mentor to inventory associates and provide re-training and coaching as needed
Support daily various inventory center functions
Ensure quality and productivity goals are met
Ensure warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and all safety procedures are being followed
Collaborate with the Arrow MSFT Operations team, providing daily WHS metrics, inventory discrepancies quality issues, etc.
Requirements:
Typically requires a 4 year degree and 1–2 years of experience or a 2 year degree and 3-5 years of experience
equivalent related experience
Previous Quality experience strongly preferred
Excel experience required
Strong email and phone communication skills
Previous inventory or leadership experience required
Ability to perform end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets and scanners)
Must have strong attention to detail
Reading, writing, and understanding of English language
Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals
Must be comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards
Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily workspace
Must be reliable and report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime hours
