Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Inventory Clerk for a full-time first shift opportunity in San Leandro, California. This role is ideal for candidates with inventory, warehouse, stockroom, or maintenance support experience who thrive in organized, fast-paced environments and can work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. This position supports daily inventory operations by managing stock movement, processing inventory transactions, verifying incoming shipments, and ensuring parts and materials are available where needed. There is also strong potential for assignment extension based on business needs and performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in handling daily inventory operations for maintenance and warehouse support
  • Process inventory orders and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Log items received into inventory and track materials removed from stock
  • Move products between stockroom, warehouse, and designated operational areas
  • Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage
  • Verify purchase orders have been filled correctly
  • Identifying damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments and coordinate resolution
  • Maintain stockroom organization and ensure efficient inventory flow
  • Support inventory counts and inventory control procedures
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies or concerns to leadership
  • Assist with general warehouse and stockroom duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, stockroom, or similar support roles
  • Experience with parts inventory procedures strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
