Role: Warehouse Incharge. Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Manager: Inventory Management, Logistics and Operations, Staff Management, Safety and Compliance, Reporting and Analysis, Other Duties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inventory Management: Supervising the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control systems
  • Implementing and monitoring inventory management practices, including cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Optimizing storage space and layout for efficiency
  • Logistics and Operations: Coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Overseeing warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping
  • Ensuring adherence to warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising warehouse staff
  • Monitoring employee performance and productivity
  • Motivating and coaching staff to achieve performance goals
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring a safe and secure work environment for warehouse staff
  • Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular reports on warehouse activities and performance
  • Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure efficiency

  • Managing budgets and costs
  • Liaising with clients and vendors
