Job Responsibility:
Inventory Management: Supervising the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control systems
Implementing and monitoring inventory management practices, including cycle counts and physical inventories
Optimizing storage space and layout for efficiency
Logistics and Operations: Coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
Overseeing warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping
Ensuring adherence to warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices
Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising warehouse staff
Monitoring employee performance and productivity
Motivating and coaching staff to achieve performance goals
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
Safety and Compliance: Ensuring a safe and secure work environment for warehouse staff
Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular reports on warehouse activities and performance
Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure efficiency
