Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring efficient handling of goods, coordinating dispatches, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • perform regular stock checks and ensure timely updates in the inventory system.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Order Processing: Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all goods are stored in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to safety guidelines and standards, including the proper use of equipment and handling of goods.
  • Space Optimization: Implement strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., transport companies, vendors) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain and oversee all records related to warehouse activities such as inventory logs, delivery notes, and invoices.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Skills: Good understanding of warehouse health, safety, and compliance requirements.
