Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring efficient handling of goods, coordinating dispatches, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • perform regular stock checks and ensure timely updates in the inventory system
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational procedures
  • Order Processing: Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all goods are stored in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to safety guidelines and standards, including the proper use of equipment and handling of goods
  • Space Optimization: Implement strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., transport companies, vendors) to ensure smooth operations
  • Documentation: Maintain and oversee all records related to warehouse activities such as inventory logs, delivery notes, and invoices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office
  • Good understanding of warehouse health, safety, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of lean warehousing processes and best practices
