Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring efficient handling of goods, coordinating dispatches, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Job Responsibility

Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
perform regular stock checks and ensure timely updates in the inventory system
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational procedures
Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
Ensure that all goods are stored in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to safety guidelines and standards, including the proper use of equipment and handling of goods
Implement strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency
Manage relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., transport companies, vendors) to ensure smooth operations
Maintain and oversee all records related to warehouse activities such as inventory logs, delivery notes, and invoices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office
Good understanding of warehouse health, safety, and compliance requirements
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Experience with ERP systems
Knowledge of lean warehousing processes and best practices
