Job Description:

Are you an HR Professional with Warehouse experience? Do you thrive in roles that are client-facing, supportive, and engaging? Randstad is looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Coordinator / On-site Coordinator to join our team in Ajax, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about managing different HR aspects in day-to-day operations within a high-volume warehouse or logistics setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supervising temporary associates in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attendance, compliance, and a positive workplace culture. This role requires a strong balance of people management, performance coaching, and operational oversight, along with an understanding of HR practices, health and safety standards, and injury reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for new hires
  • Coach and manage the performance/attendance for warehouse talents working on client site
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for both the client and Randstad associates
  • Conduct first-day orientations and provide continuous support to associates
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates
  • Oversee employee management activities, including attendance, shift management, and health & safety reporting
  • Handle disciplinary conversations and ensure effective issue resolution
  • Support payroll processes and ensure timely updates
  • Collaborate with Randstad’s internal teams for seamless operations
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace and safety policies
  • Be flexible with 10 hours shift (between 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and open to work on weekends)

Requirements:

  • 100% ON-SITE role. Must have access to a vehicle
  • Proven experience working in warehouse, logistics, or 3PL environment, with direct involvement in workforce supervision or coordination
  • Must be comfortable in working in a warehouse environment
  • Experience managing temporary associates directly/indirectly in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to work independently over the weekends
  • Understanding of HR practices, including attendance management, health & safety regulations, and basic employee relations
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in client-facing roles is an asset
  • Education in Supply Chain or Human Resources Management or a related field preferred
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and flexibility in a team-based environment
  • Flexibility required with schedule (must be available to work on weekends)

  • Experience with staffing or recruitment agencies
  • Familiarity with HRIS or scheduling systems
