Warehouse Generalists at the full-performance level work independently under general supervision and will perform work in one or more work units. They are expected to develop proficiency in the work that they perform and take the Sponsor-specific training indicated below to ensure that they can safely and effectively operate the necessary equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Safely operate material handling equipment
Perform tasks related to office moves and relocations
Utilize manual and/or electric hand tools
Perform receiving and distribution functions
Perform packing and crating functions
Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Process documents and manifests for materials
Ensure safe and secure transport of documents/materials
Complete entries into and monitor a tracking database
May serve as the customer service representative and assist in the resolution of customer problems
May coordinate daily activities of team officers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
At least one (1) year performing warehouseman-type work in a warehouse environment
Maintain a clean driving record
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Forklift training within 30 days of start
