South Auckland location with onsite parking. We are in the animal health business, partnering with our clients in the areas of Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing to produce pharmaceuticals for both farm and companion animals. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the teams responsible for warehouse and distribution operations, including the dispensing of pharmaceutical materials for production
  • Focus on developing team capability while ensuring GMP and HSE compliance, meeting operational performance targets, and delivering excellent service standards to our customers
  • Maintain and improve safety and compliance standards
  • Continuously strengthen team culture around shared goals and behaviours
  • Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance
  • Strong stakeholder management, balancing the day-to-day supply priorities of our manufacturing facility with outbound customer shipments, ensuring materials and finished goods flow efficiently across the operation
  • Leading end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, from inbound receipt through storage, dispensing, and outbound distribution
  • Ensuring full compliance with GMP, HSE, and MPI / Transitional Facility Operator (TFO) regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, and stock integrity across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Driving improvements in DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) and operational performance
  • Managing warehouse capacity, material flow, and resource planning to support manufacturing schedules
  • Ensuring the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials and dangerous goods, including Certified Handler requirements
  • Developing strong team capability, engagement, and leadership culture
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders across Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and external logistics partners
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and operational performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a significant Warehouse and Distribution operation, preferably in a pharmaceutical or related manufacturing industry with cGMP capability
  • Understanding and experience of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015
  • Outstanding front line leadership skills, showcasing ability to grow and develop team culture and team members
  • Excellent customer service, ability to go above and beyond to exceed expectations
  • Strong inventory management experience to ensure stock consumed and recorded in rotation with minimal obsolescence
  • Significant experience coordinating international logistics including hazardous and high value materials
  • Strong commercial acumen to develop and implement high quality business cases
  • Highly collaborative, team player, with an ability to engage and influence at senior levels
  • High energy, resilience and commitment to company values
  • Drive accountability and responsibility for performance of teams
  • Strong decision making, solutions focussed and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

  • Lead all warehousing and distribution operations across a large, multi-building campus supporting nationwide material delivery
  • Develop SOPs, best practices, and workflows to support business expansion and maintain coordination and consistency across all functions
  • Drive a proactive safety culture with the onsite Safety Manager, including compliance oversight, training, audits, and improvement initiatives
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team while fostering a positive, professional, and productive work environment
  • Utilize KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements in throughput, accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee implementation and optimization of WMS platforms, scanning technologies, automation tools, and reporting systems
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound materials to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and Power Design quality standards
