Job Responsibility:
Execute daily receipts of incoming materials (MMS, Maximo, Coupa) with attention to labeling integrity
Collaborate with all areas of supply chain for material inventory accuracy
Create inventory moves in GME
Daily moves of materials from receiving to designated warehouse location to include loading/unloading trailers
Troubleshoots PO issues, overdue receipts, shipping delays
Work with Purchasing, AP and suppliers to investigate and resolve receipt and invoicing issues
Understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
file and maintain documentation
Perform cycle counts as indicated with investigation and follow up
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience operating a Powered Industrial Vehicle/sit-down forklift
Proficiency in the use of computers and software
ERP knowledge a plus (JDE/GME/MMS/Maximo)
Warehouse and logistics experience a plus
Basic understanding of Supply Chain related fields: inventory, distribution, labeling, documentation compliance
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve department goals
Attention to details with ability to multitask
Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings
Able to interface with and coordinate activity with all levels of management, employees & suppliers
Able to perform basic mathematics
Requires the ability to stand/walk continuously throughout the shift
This position requires frequent grasping, pushing/pulling and reaching with hands and arms
The position also involves lifting to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
Normal visual acuity required
Must be able to squat, kneel, stoop, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balance
